Authorities

As Tas Maritime provides Tasmania’s only official Coast Radio Service we work closely with the following authorities.

Marine and Safety Tasmania (MAST)

MAST is responsible for all coastal and inland waters in Tasmania.

Tasmania Marine Police are responsible for all inshore Search and Rescue statewide.

RCC Australia is responsible for offshore Search and Rescue nationwide.

AMSA is responsible for safety at sea.

ACMA is responsible for the regulation of radio communications in Australia.
